Believe Trust

* Trust and confidence *

   A man was walking on a rope stretched between two very tall buildings.

  He was very comfortable holding a stick in both his hands.

  Her son was sitting on her shoulder.  Everyone standing on the ground was staring at him.

  When he reached the other building comfortably, people applauded and praised him.

  He smiled at the people and said,

  "Do you guys believe I'm going to walk the same rope back to the other side?"  People shouted, "Yes, yes, you can."

  He then asked, "Do you all trust me?"  The people said, "Yes, we can bet on you."

  He said, "Well, will any of you sit on my shoulder instead of my son? I'll take him safely to the other side."

  Everyone was able to listen to him.  Everyone fell silent.

  ✅ Belief is a different thing, and trust is a different thing.

  You have to be completely destroyed in order to trust.

  And we all lack that confidence today.

  We believe in God, but we cannot trust Him.  However, Allaah says in the Qur'aan:

  فَ عِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ ِّنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

  That is, when you are determined, then put your trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.
